You can click the links to download the worksheets. If you already have them, just use the ones from class. If you don't have the ability to print them out, a packet will be available to pick up at school by Friday 3/20. More information about that will be sent via Remind/Livegrades.
Watch the videos and complete. You'll need a ruler or a straight edge (use a piece of junk mail, the edge of a folder or book, etc.) and a pencil.

Students will then complete an artwork inspired by Surrealist Artists of the past.
Watch the PowerPoint, look at student examples and the videos below.
You will use colored pencil and burnish appropriately, if you have colored pencils. If you do not, you may use crayons, or oil pastels, or markers or just graphite pencil if that is all you have.
Student work needs to include the following criteria:
1. a 2 point perspective box that you turn into something else! (Like a treasure box, a pizza box, a wedding cake, a television, a dresser, couch, table, chair, bed, book, present, bathtub, etc.)
2. Stairs (See Surrealism Stairs Demo video below. Rise & Tread should be different values like Shade/Hue)
3. Patterned Floor or walkway/rug that uses the rules of 1 point perspective. (Checkerboard floor, wood slat floor, walls, ceiling, etc.)
3. At least 3 of the 5 geometric forms (Sphere, Cone, Pyramid, Cube, and/or Cylinder) shaded to look 3D!
(If you have colored media like colored pencils, crayons, etc. then you need to include hue, tint and shade!)
